11/01/2026 - Getting on Top of things

So I've been putting off any major updates to the site for way too long now, considering I started it at the tail end of 2025. But the truth is, I was very busy with all sorts of things. Thus, I think that a post about what I've been up to would be a good starting point!

Most importantly, I got a new office job that I'm starting next week. I'm both super excited and intimidated at the same time. Withouth going into too much detail, it's a pretty big career change for me. What's good is that they seem to have a pretty robust onboarding system and assured me I'm basically going to be in training for the first couple of months.

As for more creative endeavours, the zine I was hoping to contribute more to (Between The Scanlines) seems to have stalled a little bit. That's understandable, life gets in the way. But I decided to use some of my free time to make something of my own. Considering that on the tabletop roleplaying-side of the internet the Zine Month is approaching, I'm going to try my hand at creating some short-form adventuring content. I think that would make for a good practice before conceptualizing something more invovled that would require cooperation from other people.
